In-school dental cleanings
Free or Low-Cost In-School Dental Cleanings for Qualifying Georgia Students
Under Georgia law (O.C.G.A. § 20-2-775 and Georgia Department of Public Health rules), public health dental hygienists can provide preventive services—including professional cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealants—directly in schools.
Your child qualifies for these in-school cleanings if they attend a public school (or participating private/non-profit school) where at least 40% of students are eligible for free or reduced-price lunch (Title I School-wide or high-need campuses automatically meet this threshold). Most Clayton County Schools easily qualify.
With just a simple parent consent form, we bring everything to the school and perform gentle cleanings during the school day—at no out-of-pocket cost for Medicaid/CHIP-enrolled children or uninsured students. Private insurance is billed when applicable, and no family is ever charged directly.
Healthy smiles without missing work or school—exclusively for Georgia’s qualifying students!
Ready to bring free in-school dental cleanings to your students? Just contact our office—we’ll handle all the paperwork, consents, scheduling, and equipment so your school can participate with zero hassle!
